    Reports To: Operations Manager

     

    WorldSprings is the outdoor, social-wellness experience that helps every guest feel better through globally-inspired soaking waters. 


    Position Overview: 

    The MOD will report directly to the Operations Manager and is the main contact for general guidance and questions throughout the property during their MOD shift. The MOD helps to ensure that the day-to-day operations run smoothly in all property divisions including guest services, spa, food and beverage, maintenance, and general operations. The MOD is also responsible for ensuring the safety for all employees and guests as well as handling guest problems and complaints. MOD must be able to make quick informed decisions, understand emergency procedures, ensure all employees follow company policies including dress code, breaks etc. The MOD will also complete additional duties as assigned by the General Manager and Sr. Assistant General Manager. 

     

    Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties: 


    • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and addressing their inquiries and concerns. 
    • Ensure guests have a positive experience, resolve complaints, and address special requests.  
    • Oversee and manage staff during designated MOD shift. 
    • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide support as needed. 
    • Monitor the overall operation of the property supporting team members and guests as necessary.  
    • Ensure team members and guests follow established policies and procedures.  
    • Regular property walks and check-ins with each department to have a pulse on the property and potential needs. 
    • Complete detailed end of shift recaps to the GM and/or Sr. AGM daily. 
    • Be prepared to act as the first point of contact during emergencies or critical situations. 
    • Coordinate responses to incidents, such as medical emergencies, fires, security breaches etc. 
    • Maintain accurate incident reports, recording details of accidents, injuries, critical situations and any medical interventions.  
    • Enforce safety standards to keep guests and team members safe. 
    • Address any safety concerns or issues with law enforcement and emergency personnel if necessary.  
    • Aid in the opening and closing of the property, securing the building with the safety team member.  

     

    Environmental Factors and other requirements:  


    • The essential functions of this position are performed outdoors in high temperatures and prolonged humidity. Ability to sustain physical labor and maintain focus during prolonged exposure to extreme heat and humidity 
    • Ability to safely navigate, lift, and maneuver equipment on chronically wet, slick, and slimy surfaces 
    • Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) 
    • May involve bending, crouching, and crawling 
    • Ability to problem solve efficiently and think on your feet
    • Proficiency with guest and team member relations and de-escalation
    • Ability to delegate and multitask in high pressure situations 
    • Ability to walk, stand, and run around and across property to respond to incidents and perform round
