Position Summary
Anne Arundel Community College seeks a Manager, Occupational Safety & Risk Management to lead workplace safety initiatives, support OSHA compliance, and coordinate insurance coverage and claims. This position focuses on identifying workplace hazards, providing safety training, and reducing injuries and financial losses. The ideal candidate brings experience in occupational health and safety and insurance program administration.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Workplace Safety
Risk Management/Insurance
Assist in the development of the Request for Proposal for an Insurance Broker in conjunction with Purchasing.
Hazardous Waste
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration with 2 - 5 years of employment experience in the following areas: Risk Management, Insurance, Hazardous waste, workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience / Certifications in handling risk management and insurance related issues.
Coursework in risk management and/or insurance.
Experience / Certifications in OSHA workplace safety requirements.
Experience with hazardous material pick-up and removal.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
