    Location: West Palm Beach, FL
    Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Salaried/Exempt

    Position Summary

    Seeking an experienced Manager of Facilities to oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, safety, and building systems. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a maintenance/custodial team, vendors, preventative maintenance, work orders, and facility projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead maintenance and custodial staff.
    • Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building, and life-safety systems.
    • Manage preventative and corrective maintenance, work orders, inspections, and repairs.
    • Coordinate contractors, vendors, purchasing, inventory, and service agreements.
    • Support budgeting, cost estimates, capital projects, and facility improvements.
    • Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire/life safety, ADA, and applicable regulations.
    • Manage emergency preparedness, including hurricane/severe-weather response.
    • Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.
    • Support new construction turnover, commissioning, and maintenance planning for expanded facilities.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of commercial facilities, building maintenance, or plant operations experience.
    • 3+ years supervising maintenance and/or custodial teams.
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
    • Experience with CMMS/work order systems, preventative maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
    • Florida hurricane/severe-weather experience preferred.
    • Valid Florida driver's license and insurable driving record.
    • Ability to work hands-on, outdoors, in mechanical spaces, and respond to emergencies.
    • Trade certifications, facilities credentials, or construction experience preferred.
