    MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Enterprise IT Infrastructure to join our team!

    As a Manager of Enterprise of IT Infrastructure, you will lead MGS’s enterprise infrastructure function and be accountable for shared infrastructure services globally. This position oversees infrastructure architecture, standards, and operations for data centers, servers, storage, networking, cloud services, telecommunications, security platforms, endpoint management, and data protection partnering with regional IT, applications, cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and leadership to align infrastructure services with MGS priorities. The role leads and contributes to multiple infrastructure initiatives and projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the enterprise infrastructure function and manage, coach, and develop assigned infrastructure professionals.
    • Own enterprise infrastructure service performance, capacity, lifecycle, recoverability, scalability, and service levels.
    • Develop and recommend infrastructure strategy, architecture, standards, and roadmaps aligned with enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity requirements, application needs, and regional business priorities.
    • Oversees and manages enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including data centers, servers, storage, networking, cloud services, telecommunications and unified communications, endpoint management, and shared infrastructure platforms.
    • Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, and lead resolution of significant incidents and recurring problems, including root-cause analysis and corrective action.
    • Research and recommend technologies and approaches that improve infrastructure services.
    • Design and document infrastructure architectures and technical solutions consistent with enterprise direction and standards.
    • Standardize infrastructure solutions across MGS and document justified exceptions.
    • Operate and maintain infrastructure security controls, including firewalls, network security, endpoint security, hardening, patching, and related compliance controls.
    • Maintain data-protection, backup, and disaster-recovery capabilities and support business-continuity planning and testing.
    • Manage infrastructure assets throughout their lifecycle, including standards, inventory, refresh planning, and retirement.
    • Lead infrastructure procurement, including requirements, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost management.
    • Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors, service providers, consultants, and other support partners.
    • Lead modernization of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure.
    • Partner with regional IT leaders on infrastructure requirements, priorities, recurring issues, and planned business changes.
    • Communicate significant infrastructure incidents, risks, planned changes, roadmaps, and service performance to affected stakeholders.
    • Coordinate major infrastructure changes with regional IT, applications, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
    • Maintain an understanding of business processes, operating requirements, and technology dependencies across locations.
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant technology trends and share significant developments with IT leadership.
    • Prepare infrastructure progress, performance, budget, forecast, and risk reports for management.
    • Assess the need for infrastructure equipment, software, subscriptions, and services.
    • Document and represent assigned work through change-control and governance processes.
    • Document key infrastructure systems, configurations, standards, processes, and procedures.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Required Experience:

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience + education is required.
    • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including data centers, enterprise networking, servers, storage, cloud infrastructure, and security-related responsibilities.
    • 1+ years of experience leading IT infrastructure teams.
    • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, enterprise networking, cloud environments, endpoint management, and related infrastructure technologies.
    • Experience overseeing firewalls, endpoint security, backup and recovery platforms, and disaster-recovery planning and execution.
    • Strong people-management skills.
    • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently.
    • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT functions, regions, business partners, and external providers.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
    • Organizational skills to facilitate a productive working environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement long-range infrastructure plans, technologies, standards, and operational procedures.
    • Proven ability to design, implement, and administer enterprise infrastructure solutions.
    • Knowledge of industry-standard practices.
    • Experience with a regulated medical business is preferred.
    • Awareness of regional data-protection and cybersecurity requirements.
    • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and IT service-management practices.
    • Proven experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
    • Familiarity with modern data-protection and backup platforms supporting business continuity and disaster recovery.
