Manager of Content, Store Experiences – Beauty & Salon
Role Summary
The Manager, Events & Experiences Content is responsible for bringing beauty and salon events to life through compelling, social-first content that drives traffic, engagement, and sales. This role leads to the capture, creation, and amplification of content from in-store events, brand activations, and experience, ensuring every moment is turned into shareable, revenue-driving storytelling. Connects events to content and content to commerce, creating visibility for the business while inspiring both customers and store teams.
Key Responsibilities
Event Content Strategy & Execution
• Travel to events and experiences to develop and execute a content strategy
• Capture key moments from in-store events, brand activations, and trainings
• Ensure every event has a clear content plan (before, during, and after) Translate events into engaging stories that drive awareness and traffic
Social Content Creation
• Create and manage short-form video, photography, and social content
• Ensure content is aligned to brand voice, trends, and platform best practices
• Highlight artistry, services, product, and customer experiences through content
• Deliver content that is engaging, authentic, and performance-driven
Traffic & Sales Impact
• Use content to drive store traffic, event attendance, and customer engagement
• Partner with Sales & Education teams to align content with event sales goals and key moments
• Amplify product launches, services, and promotions through event storytelling
• Track and optimize content performance to improve reach and conversion
Team & Field Enablement
• Provide tools and guidance for store teams to capture and share content locally
• Create simple frameworks and templates to ensure consistent, high-quality content
• Elevate field capability in social storytelling and content creation
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner with Manager of Event & Experiences, Brands, Merchants, Pro Team, and Education to align on event storytelling
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure content supports broader campaigns
• Ensure alignment between in-store experiences and digital presence
• Partners with internal Communications for monthly updates on events and highlights all community, in store, and activations for awareness in the community and in stores
• Attends PR Event, Marketing, and Event Meetings
Content Management & Organization
• Manage and organize a central content library for events and experiences
• Ensure content is accessible for reuse across teams and platforms
• Maintain consistency in quality, tone, and brand representation
Qualifications
• Strong creative eye for content, storytelling, and visual trends
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and content performance
• Ability to connect content to traffic, engagement, and sales outcomes
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple events and timelines
• Collaborative, energetic, and hands-on
• Ability to travel more than 50% of the time and be available to work weekends to support events & experiences
