NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a growing organization in the East Dallas area to identify aCompensation & Analytics Manager for a newly created leadership position.


This role will take ownership of the company’s compensation function and help strengthen the programs, processes, and reporting used to support business and workforce decisions. The position combines compensation strategy, sales commission oversight, advanced analytics, financial modeling, and executive-level communication.


The Compensation & Analytics Manager will report to the Human Resources Leader and supervise an experienced Commission Analyst.


What You’ll Do


- Lead and continue developing the organization’s compensation strategy and programs

- Manage salary structures, job architecture, career levels, incentive plans, sales commissions, and equity-related programs

- Oversee a complex sales commission process and provide leadership to the Commission Analyst

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

- Build Excel-based models, forecasts, metrics, and compensation planning tools

- Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations

- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and decision-support materials

- Continue expanding the company’s job architecture and career framework

- Conduct market benchmarking and support compensation survey participation

- Monitor pay equity and compensation-related compliance

- Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Talent Acquisition, and other business leaders

- Help assess future compensation, reporting, and analytics technology needs


What We’re Looking For


- At least five years of progressive compensation, total rewards, or compensation analytics experience

- Strong experience managing or supporting corporate compensation programs

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets

- Experience building financial, compensation, or workforce models

- Ability to convert data into practical recommendations for business leaders

- Experience with salary structures, market pricing, incentive programs, or sales commissions

- Prior formal leadership experience as a manager, supervisor, team lead, or functional lead

- Strong executive presentation and communication skills

- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Garland, Texas, or relocate to the area


Preferred Experience


- Experience managing complex sales commission or incentive plans

- Experience building or expanding job architecture and career-level frameworks

- Corporate compensation experience

- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools

- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems

- Certified Compensation Professional designation

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
