Job Summary

Lead a broad portfolio of services including Rehabilitation Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Outpatient Services, Imaging, and Laboratory Services.

Drive high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Foster a culture of caregiver engagement, collaboration, professional growth, and operational excellence.

Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and quality performance improvement across all areas of responsibility.

Partner with leaders and providers to enhance service delivery, patient experience, and community health outcomes.

Champion PeaceHealth's mission, values, and leadership principles while building strong relationships across the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with leadership throughout the organization to maximize operational efficiencies and meet capital and operating budget goals. Participate in operational planning and implementation of organizational strategic plans and ensure overall operational performance.
  • Manage operational units as assigned including providing leadership for clinical excellence, personnel management, fiscal accountability, operational effectiveness, and positive relations with other departments, members of the medical staff, physician practices and all stakeholders within scope and span of control.
  • Promote change, facilitate redesign, and implement systems and processes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, state and federal laws, PeaceHealth policies, and accreditation within all programs and clinical units. Resolve escalated, complex issues and questions.
  • Lead or participate in projects, task forces and committees in area of expertise that drive innovation, quality, value and/or better service to customers and caregivers.
  • Develop and implement cost-savings, authorize and monitors budget expenditures and manage the budget planning process for assigned areas of responsibilities. Examine, analyze and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity and quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you Bring!

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience required
  • Strong financial acumen for budgets and productivity
  • Preferred: Experience in leadership, team process, troubleshooting and follow-through of projects

Credentials

  • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support

  • Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability. (Required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. (Required)
  • Proficient use of computers including MS Office applications. (Required)

Working Conditions

Lifting

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Sedentary work.

Environmental Conditions

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.
  • Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

Mental/Visual

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
