    Manager, Medical Economics

    Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

    Our client is seeking a Manager, Medical Economics to lead high-impact analytics initiatives across claims, provider, member, and authorization data. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on analytics, allowing you to influence key business decisions while mentoring and developing a high-performing team.

    What You'll Do:

    • Lead medical economics analyses focused on healthcare cost, utilization, and operational performance.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that improve business outcomes.
    • Partner with leaders across clinical, operational, and finance teams to support strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and mentor a team of healthcare analytics professionals.
    • Utilize large healthcare datasets to drive performance improvement initiatives.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Strong background in Medical Economics, healthcare cost analysis, and utilization analytics.
    • Experience working with claims, provider, member, and authorization data.
    • Experience in Medicaid Managed Care or a health plan/payer environment.
    • Advanced SQL skills and experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
    • Prior leadership experience managing or mentoring analysts preferred
