    NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

    As our Media Planning & Strategy Manager, you will lead our paid growth strategy and oversee the end-to-end execution of our performance marketing efforts. You will be responsible for managing the paid media budget, driving high-level strategy across multiple platforms, and mentoring the growth team to hit aggressive acquisition and ROI targets.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Oversees Digital Marketing Objectives

    • Develops digital marketing strategies to drive business performance through the execution of paid advertising campaigns

    • Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and other department heads. Ensure paid media initiatives are integrated with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.

    • Team Management

    • Lead a team of digital specialists, providing clear direction, professional development, and performance feedback to ensure collective success.

    • Drive a culture of "rapid experimentation." Guide the team in A/B testing, landing page optimization, and channel diversification to lower CPA and improve lead quality.

    • Evaluate current workflows and implement new protocols to ensure the team operates with maximum productivity and executional excellence.

    • Insights & Reporting

    • Track core KPIs to provide clear visibility into performance and drive data-backed decision-making.

    • Provides recommendations and solutions for both short and long term actions to executive management.

    • Ensure the team is capturing and analyzing the right metrics to maximize ROI across paid search, display, video, and remarketing.

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

    • Proven track record in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) performance marketing; experience in financial services or membership-based models is a significant plus. Deep knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform, Meta Business Suite, Reddit, Yelp, TikTok and Pinterest.
    • A portfolio of success in scaling digital programs and improving campaign performance at an enterprise level.
    • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail on content quality and analytics reporting.

    EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field or combination of education and relevant experience

    • 5 years of experience in digital marketing including 2-3 proven leadership or people management experience.

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree or MBA

    We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00
