    West Monroe is seeking a Manager to join our Consumer & Industrial Products (C&IP) Team within our M&A practice. This role is ideal for a consulting leader with experience delivering manufacturing operations, supply chain, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives for consumer products, industrials, or related industries. 

    As a Manager, you will lead client engagements that improve operational performance across manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise technology environments. Working closely with client executives and engagement leaders, you will help organizations translate business strategy into practical operating model, process, IT, and OT-enabled improvements. In addition to client delivery, you will contribute to business development, mentor junior consultants, and help grow West Monroe's Operations and Supply Chain Transformation capabilities. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Manage end-to-end delivery of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations transformation engagements, including scope, budget, staffing, timelines, deliverables, profitability, and quality.  
    • Lead manufacturing and supply chain transformation initiatives, including:  
    • Transformation roadmap development  
    • Operating model and business process redesign  
    • Cross-functional coordination across operations, plant, IT, and OT teams  
    • Risk, issue, and dependency management  
    • Executive status reporting and stakeholder communications  
    • Benefits realization and value tracking  
    • Lead multiple workstreams while coordinating business, operations, manufacturing, IT, and OT stakeholders.  
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to Director and VP-level client leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and technology.  
    • Drive technology-enabled transformation initiatives involving operating models, business processes, enterprise systems, industrial technologies, and data.  
    • Support operational improvement initiatives spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, and distribution.  
    • Advise clients on manufacturing technology ecosystems including ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, industrial automation, connected operations, and analytics platforms.  
    • Translate business objectives into practical implementation plans and measurable business outcomes.  
    • Ensure project quality while adhering to delivery, legal, QA, and risk management standards.  
    • Manage engagement financials, staffing, and delivery performance while identifying and mitigating project risks.  
    • Participate in account management activities and identify opportunities for follow-on work and expanded client relationships.  
    • Support proposal development, client pursuits, and thought leadership initiatives within the Consumer & Industrial Products practice.  
    • Coach and mentor consultants and senior consultants while contributing to recruiting, onboarding, and practice development.  
    • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, and develop data-driven recommendations while exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.  
    • Apply AI technologies, including generative AI and automation tools, to improve delivery efficiency and enhance client outcomes.  

    Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.  
    • 7–10 years of consulting, transformation, manufacturing operations, or operational improvement experience, preferably serving consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial clients.  
    • Experience leading consulting engagements or significant workstreams involving manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and technology transformation.  
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, materials management, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment.  
    • Experience with manufacturing and supply chain technologies, including ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, industrial automation, connected operations, data platforms, and analytics solutions.  
    • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships with Director and VP-level stakeholders.  
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, operations, manufacturing, technology, and third-party vendors.  
    • Experience translating business objectives into implementation plans, measurable outcomes, and value realization.  
    • Experience managing engagement budgets, forecasting, staffing, project financials, and profitability.  
    • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar technologies) to improve productivity and insight generation while applying critical thinking to validate outputs.  
    • Experience contributing to business development activities, proposal development, account growth, or client pursuits.  
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.  
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality client delivery.  
    • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.  
    • Ability to travel 30–50%. 

    Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

    Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
