Amazon Robotics is seeking a Manager III, Hardware Development to lead our compliance laboratory testing operations across two A2LA-accredited laboratories located at BOS12 and BOS27. This role carries dual responsibility as both the operational manager and overseeing management of the lab"s independent ISO 17025 accreditation. The successful candidate will oversee certification maintenance, quality policy development, and continuous improvement while leading a team of engineers specializing in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI), radio frequency testing, and electrical product safety testing. These disciplines are critical to ensuring every Amazon Robotics product meets global regulatory requirements ahead of General Availability (GA) release.
Compliance testing is a critical-path activity for all Amazon Robotics hardware products, so this role directly influences the organization"s ability to launch products on schedule. The manager partners closely with the product compliance engineering team, who define the compliance strategy, test requirements, and submit work requests to the labs. The manager and lab team execute against those requests, providing expert feedback on test standards and test methodologies.
