JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Global Application Integration Services, will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to support, upgrade, and develop applications, both internal and vendor-provided, for Universal Destinations & Experiences. This role will work closely and collaboratively with global enterprise business stakeholders and leaders to provide 24/7/365 availability of Universal Destinations & Experiences systems.
Responsible for leading and managing a team of developers who are responsible for the development, testing, implementation, security, and support of global applications in the Revenue Operations and Resort Guest Experience value streams, as well as additional value streams as needed. Maintains ultimate responsibility for methodologies, processes, and procedures, and ensures all products are secure, defect-free, and compliant with technical specifications and governance policies.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and creative technical solutions for all aspects of support activities and projects. Influence tactical and strategic decisions while serving as a creative thought partner to business stakeholders, service providers, and related technology teams. Communicate issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance against plan. Lead production releases in partnership with Release Management and the PMO.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, including employees and contractors, in the delivery of small, medium, and large projects in conjunction with the Project Management Office.
- Ensure production solutions maintain technical currency and integrity and consistently meet defined service-level commitments associated with guest systems. Establish and maintain policies for documentation of all guest applications, and manage projects and tasks in accordance with SDLC processes and governance policies.
- Lead the team in resolving complex challenges and proposing new solutions. Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, replicate errors, determine root causes, and communicate findings. Liaise with other technical teams to assist in resolving problems with software products and/or hardware component configurations.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information management, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of experience developing REST APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience leading technical teams as a manager or technical lead.
- Previous application development experience, either in a supervisory role or as a development lead.
- Experience in back-end development and REST APIs is a plus.
- Experience in SDLC/PDLC using AI tools and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to quickly build relationships with other leaders, both within and outside the division.

- Hands-on experience planning and providing estimates for projects.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
