We are looking for a talented individual to join our finance team at our East Hanover campus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both onsite and remotely, providing flexibility and a dynamic work environment. The position is initially for 12 months, with the potential for extension.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to support month-end close, financial reporting, and control activities. This role involves partnering closely with various finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and timely management insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements, preparing financial commentary on key variances.
- Prepare and post manual journal entries, accruals, and cost cross-charges.
- Resolve intercompany and reporting discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and presentations for leadership reviews.
- Coordinate financial review and sign-off processes, including controls and compliance documentation.
- Execute key financial controls and prepare cash forecasts.
- Manage intercompany billing and invoice review activities.
- Prepare supporting documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain financial reporting procedures and process documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferences
- CPA certification.
- Experience with manufacturing and fixed assets.
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting systems.
