The Manager Finance manages the organization''s financial planning activities, working across the organization with function leaders to analyze key business metrics and goals to inform and advise strategic decision-making. This position leads a team that focuses on quarterly forecasting, scenario modeling and both short- and long-term strategic planning for the greater organization.
Essential Job Function:
- Manages the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, contract review, risk assessment evaluation and other accounting functions for the organization.
- Leads and builds a strong team with the goal of creating value for finance and operational leaders across the organization.
- Reviews the reports that summarize and forecast business activity and the organization's financial position by forecasting and tracking key assumptions.
- Identifies annual target setting and long-range forecasts to ensure the organization is tracking appropriately and financially in budget.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on modeling strategic initiatives and communication with necessary leaders across departments to make decisions and meet organization goals.
- Evaluates current processes and policies, identifies best practices, develops plans to achieve goals, and implements improvements.
- Oversees and evaluates the finance team members and broader department by providing training and guidance on professional development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree.

- Required: Department/role specific certification may be required. Required certification programs may include HFMA CHFP, CPA, or other certification programs defined by the department leader.
