Job Description:

The Manager, Enterprise Transformation Analytics & Automation develops practical automation and analytics solutions that improve business processes, strengthen controls, and enable better decisions across the enterprise. Although the role sits within a Finance-led transformation organization, its scope extends beyond Finance to initiatives supporting Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other corporate and business functions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can understand an end-to-end business process, identify where data and manual activity create risk or inefficiency, and build a sustainable solution. Alteryx is the primary development platform. The role also partners with data and technology teams on SQL-based analysis, Google Cloud Platform data, business intelligence reporting, data pipelines, reconciliations, and control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business process discovery: Partner with functional leaders and subject-matter experts to understand current-state processes, business rules, pain points, data dependencies, risks, controls, and desired outcomes.
  • Alteryx solution development: Design, build, test, deploy, document, and support Alteryx workflows that automate data preparation, reconciliations, reporting, calculations, exception identification, and other repeatable business activities.
  • Enterprise transformation delivery: Support cross-functional initiatives spanning Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other areas based on enterprise priorities.
  • Analytics and decision support: Translate business questions into clear analyses, dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights for business and transformation leaders.
  • Data pipelines and integration: Work with structured data from multiple systems and contribute to reliable data flows, reusable datasets, and controlled handoffs between source systems, cloud platforms, analytics tools, and reporting products.
  • Data quality and controls: Build validation, reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, exception handling, auditability, and monitoring into automation and analytics solutions.
  • Requirements translation: Convert business needs into documented functional requirements, data logic, workflow designs, testing scenarios, and implementation plans.
  • Testing and implementation: Lead or support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, deployment, change management, training, hypercare, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Reusable standards: Develop templates, documentation, design standards, and repeatable components that improve speed, consistency, maintainability, and governance.
  • Stakeholder communication: Communicate progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and value realization to business partners, technology teams, and leadership.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve controls, enhance data visibility, and scale successful solutions to additional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, finance, operations, analytics, automation, or enterprise transformation.
  • Alteryx: Hands-on experience developing Alteryx workflows, including data preparation, joins, transformations, formulas, macros or reusable components, validation, exception handling, and production support.
  • Business process knowledge: Demonstrated ability to understand and document processes across multiple functions and connect operational activities, data, controls, and business outcomes.
  • Analytical capability: Strong ability to investigate data, identify patterns and exceptions, reconcile results, solve ambiguous problems, and communicate practical recommendations.
  • Controls mindset: Experience designing or operating data-quality checks, reconciliations, approval points, audit trails, and other controls appropriate for enterprise solutions.
  • Communication: Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders and explain requirements, logic, risks, and results in clear business language.
  • Delivery: Experience managing work from discovery and design through testing, deployment, documentation, training, and support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL: Experience writing queries to extract, join, transform, validate, and analyze data.
  • Google Cloud Platform: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery or cloud-based enterprise datasets.
  • Visualization: Experience developing dashboards or analytical reporting in Looker, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools.
  • Broader technical skills: Familiarity with Python, APIs, ETL or ELT concepts, workflow scheduling, source control, or production monitoring.
  • Enterprise systems: Experience working with data from ERP, financial, operational, customer, workforce, marketing, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Transformation background: Experience delivering automation, analytics, reporting modernization, process redesign, or control-enhancement initiatives across more than one business function.
