Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop, and coordinate an enterprise infrastructure team.
- Direct platform upgrades, migrations, implementations, and lifecycle initiatives.
- Oversee virtualization, server, storage, messaging, and directory-service operations.
- Review infrastructure designs for security, reliability, compatibility, and cost.
- Establish technical standards, procedures, documentation, and operating expectations.
- Coordinate incident response and reduce planned and unplanned service interruptions.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate infrastructure products and services.
- Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and recommendations to technology leadership.
Role Requirements:
- Five or more years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Experience directly leading infrastructure engineers or administrators.
- Strong VMware platform experience.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience with large enterprise storage systems.
- Background leading complex infrastructure migrations or upgrades.
- Understanding of server, email, directory, backup, and data center operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-availability environment.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Existing unrestricted U.S. Work authorization.
- Ability to work locally in the Memphis area and attend onsite meetings or incidents when required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Dell enterprise infrastructure.
- Healthcare or other mission-critical industry experience.
- Experience consolidating multiple virtualization environments.
- Project management or infrastructure-roadmap experience.
- Experience managing contractors and technology vendors.
