We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product engineering, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Muskego, WI manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, driving operational performance, managing capital projects up to $5M, and developing a high-performing engineering team.

What You'll Do

As Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead the design, development, and launch of new products from concept through production

Drive engineering initiatives focused on product performance, reliability, quality, and cost reduction

Partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions

Manage capital projects ranging from $50K to $5M, from business case through implementation

Oversee CAD standards, product documentation, design reviews, and engineering best practices

Support manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve OEE

Lead root cause investigations, customer issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts

Develop supplier relationships to enhance product quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness

Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical professionals

Serve as a technical leader and key contributor to strategic business initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Process Engineering
• 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in new product development and product lifecycle management
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Experience using Inventor or similar advanced CAD systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience leading capital projects and manufacturing improvements
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, or Continuous Improvement experience
• Customer-facing problem-solving and quality systems experience
• Experience working closely with suppliers and production operations
