    Description

    Business Summary:

    The Manager, Creative, leads the development of brand-aligned creative concepts and assets that support integrated marketing and Member engagement strategies. This position oversees creative direction, cross-functional collaboration, project delivery, and the performance and development of creative contributors across digital, social, print, video, and related channels. The Manager ensures creative standards and execution quality support consistent brand expression across marketing and communication initiatives.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Leads the development of integrated creative concepts and assets that translate strategic briefs, campaign objectives, and audience insights into compelling visual solutions.
    • Directs and develops creative assets for social, digital, print, out-of-home, video, and other marketing channels, ensuring consistency with AAA, Inc. brand standards and storytelling approach.
    • Partners with brand account managers, marketing specialists, designers, photographers, videographers, and other production partners to align creative execution with business and Member engagement goals.
    • Manages creative project scope, priorities, timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure work is delivered on schedule and within agreed parameters.
    • Presents creative concepts, design recommendations, and campaign materials to stakeholders with clear rationale and emphasis on audience connection and brand impact.
    • Applies current design, content, and platform trends to improve creative effectiveness while maintaining brand integrity.
    • Provides creative direction, feedback, coaching, and mentorship to graphic designers and other creative contributors to support quality work, professional growth, and consistent performance.
    • Supervises assigned work output and performance, delegates work based on team strengths, and fosters a collaborative, accountable, and supportive creative culture.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong creative direction, conceptual thinking, and visual storytelling skills across integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Advanced knowledge of design principles, typography, photography, layout, composition, and brand identity systems.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative concept development, design execution, campaign application, and brand-aligned work across multiple channels.
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and working knowledge of current design, presentation, and collaboration tools.
    • Ability to develop polished presentations and communicate creative concepts, design rationale, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of digital, social, video, print, out-of-home, and traditional marketing asset development, including platform-specific creative requirements.
    • Ability to apply emerging creative tools, including AI-enabled tools, with sound judgment to support ideation, efficiency, and brand consistency.
    • Strong project management, prioritization, organization, and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Ability to coach, mentor, delegate, resolve conflict, provide feedback, and support the development and performance of creative contributors.
    • Self-awareness, adaptability, sound judgment, and openness to feedback and new ideas.

    Education, Experience, & Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
    • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in creative, design, brand, advertising, or marketing communications work.
    • Experience leading creative projects, providing creative direction, and supervising, mentoring, or guiding designers or other creative contributors.

    Hiring Range: $67,750 - $84,010

    This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Associates Incentive Plan.

The posted range for this position represents competitive compensation based on market data, internal equity, and the skills and requirements of the position. The compensation offered will depend on your qualifications and experience.
