Manager, Creative Delivery

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Manager - Creative Operations (CO) supervises a team of Creative Campaign Managers, Creative Project Manager(s) and/or Creative Project Coordinator(s) who facilitate the creative execution/operational workflow to deliver sold campaigns and projects within Engagement Communications and the corporation. This results in the presentation, creation, production and implementation of quality, creative and effective communications materials for Engagement Communication's internal and external clients.

The Manager provides oversight to Engagement Communications department operations and workflow, ensuring the team operates smoothly and profitably. The Manager provides guidance and support to team members assisting with training, development and career growth.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in the areas of Communications, Marketing, or Journalism, or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years professional services experience in a Marketing or Creative agency or similar environment. Minimum two (2) years project or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive by creating order out of chaos in fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated success at managing a high-volume of responsibility with poise and optimism.
• Excel in right-brain vision and imagination as well as left-brain logic and execution.
• Demonstrated competency in the execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large-scale projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively across a spectrum of Business, Creative and Technology.
• Understanding and familiarity with the overall creative process, including conceptualization, design, copy development, production artwork, pre-press, computer graphics, printing technologies and web design.
• Advanced computer skills required including software skills in Project Management and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to collaborate and motivate creative/professional individuals, leading them to a higher level of quality and creativity.
• Ability to have a positive attitude and effect on the creative/professional staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• General understanding of financial analysis and budget development.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage workflows and assist in prioritization of the schedules of the creative/professional staff, even in the midst of stressful and difficult circumstances.
• Ability to listen, understand, and respond to external and internal customers' needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
• Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects or meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding salary and personnel issues.
