What We Are Looking For
The Compliance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the company's Compliance Program focusing on FERC regulated interstate natural gas and prodcuts pipelines, ensuring adherence to applicable federal, state, and industry regulations across all business units. This position manages compliance processes, policies, documentation, training, and audit readiness while supervising a Compliance Analyst. The Compliance Manager works closely with Legal, Commerical, Human Resources, Information Governance, and executive leadership to maintain and strengthen a culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory compliance within Kinder Morgan.
What You Will Do
Promote operational excellence, ethical business practices, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
What You Need
7+ years of compliance, legal, regulatory, audit, or risk management experience, preferably within the oil and gas or energy industry
Strong working knowledge of FERC regulations and other applicable energy industry compliance requirements
Experience managing compliance programs, audits, investigations, and policy governance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and compliance management systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skillsWork well independently as well as with teams
Interact with a wide variety of peopl with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
Based in Houston Headquarters with a Hybrid work schedule based on business needs
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
