This new role comes online during a period of ambitious growth and heightened market visibility for a company sitting at the epicenter of energy infrastructure.What You'll DoThe ideal candidate has strong expertise across modern communications technologies and can independently manage projects from concept to completion. You will also support strategic communications, media relations, internal communications, and external reporting initiatives.Story CaptureWork in three primary areas: story discovery, creation, and production, translating everyday business operations into visually engaging, easy‑to‑digest case studies and project profiles directly linked to enterprise‑level business objectives.Identify and elevate authentic stories from across the business—customers, communities, employees, and partners.Anticipate story angles before they surface and proactively bring forward a plan to capture the essence of what they are and why they matter.Bring our work to life through engaging video, social, and digital content, including short‑form.Lead the process from concept through to content capture, case study, creation, and delivery.Use data and audience insights to shape stories that drive engagement and encourage action.Partner with the digital team to post and broadcast the content you create.Measure impact, then modify or amplify subject to performance.Media RelationsSupport the execution of an enterprise‑wide media relations strategy aligned with priority business initiatives, specific milestones, and company news.Develop and execute proactive outreach efforts highlighting the company's differentiators with emphasis on thought leadership opportunities.Lead preparation of associated briefing materials.Company Reports & PublicationsPartner on content creation and development of several high‑profile external reports.Assist with the creation of various internal and general communications as the need arises.What You'll Have10+ years of experience in a relevant discipline with a compelling portfolio.Proven ability to scale a modern approach to sharing a company story.Deep understanding of how audiences engage with content across platforms.Strategic mindset paired with hands‑on execution and creative instincts—you are comfortable shaping the plan as well as making it happen.Technically curious, people focused, relationship driven, and deadline‑oriented.Highly collaborative yet able to operate independently.A can‑do attitude, yes‑first attitude.Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time.Open to remote candidates.What You'll GetBenefit package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401K with company match.Voluntary life & AD&D insurance and short‑term and long‑term disability.Vacation, sick time, and paid holidays.Potential bonus opportunities.Career development opportunities.Employee discounts.Weekly payroll.Work EnvironmentWork performed in a typical indoor office environment.Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice.Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing.Mobility required within an office, warehouse, and construction site environments.Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.Legal StuffPass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.Provide valid U.S. work authorization documents for E‑Verify.Satisfactory results of pre‑employment background check results.Our Commitment to OpportunityThis job description is subject to change at any time.
