The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Manager, Commerce to join our growing Client Services team. As a Manager, Commerce, you will act as a primary partner for our clients, driving eCommerce strategy and execution across retailers and intermediaries. You will lead day-to-day client engagements, manage account teams, and own the delivery of best-in-class service and business growth for our clients. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires strong commercial acumen, digital commerce expertise, and the ability to collaborate across internal teams and stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Lead day-to-day commerce strategy and execution across retail and media channels.
Develop and implement eCommerce strategies that drive sales, share, and profit for your clients across platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, etc.).
Monitors pacing and performance of campaigns to ensure delivery is appropriate and aligned to campaign flighting and client objectives
Utilizes an in-depth proficiency of multiple retail media networks & their platforms to meet client business objectives - Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Walmart Connect, Walmart DSP (TTD), TTD, Kroger, Roundel, Criteo, Instacart
Understands and applies DSP interface functionality and levers (campaign hierarchy, audience builder, optimization levers, bidding strategies, PMP/PG set up, reporting suite)
Configures audience targeting, including behavioral, contextual, retargeting, and third-party audiences. Proficiency in Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) audiences and measurement strategies is a plus.
Oversees building of an effective detailed campaign utilizing best DSP practices to drive client performance. This includes tactics, audiences, flighting, KPIs, etc.
Leads calls with retailers and DSP partners, ensuring all partners are aware of client goals/strategy to better equip them to make relevant campaign optimization suggestions. Identifies growth opportunities and recommends new DSP features and strategies to problem-solve.
Applies proficiency in Excel for data analysis and forming data storytelling narratives. This includes proficiency in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS and Calculated Fields
Lead regular client meetings and communications, providing performance updates, actionable insights, and proactive recommendations based on data analysis.
Oversee and mentor junior team members, supporting their growth and ensuring quality standards in client deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Manage and monitor key business metrics, campaign performance, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPIs.
Drive business growth for clients by identifying and presenting new opportunities, trends, and incremental value Flywheel can deliver.
Stay current on industry developments and marketplace changes, translating macro trends into tailored recommendations for clients.
Contribute to internal best practice sharing, training sessions, and new business initiatives.
Occasional travel, as , based on client needs.
