Manager, Case Management (Trauma)

The Manager of Case Management for Trauma is responsible for overseeing case management operations, utilization review, discharge planning, and care coordination activities for trauma patients. This role provides leadership to case management staff while ensuring quality patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, resource utilization, and efficient patient transitions of care.
The Manager will collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and support organizational goals related to quality, safety, and cost-effective care delivery.
Must-Haves
Case Manager Certification required
Current and valid Texas RN License or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required (LCSW preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in utilization management, case management, discharge planning, or cost/quality management programs
Minimum 3 years of hospital-based nursing or social work experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership/management experience
