Manager - Carpenter and Paint Shop

Job Summary:
The Manager - Carpenter and Paint Shop position requires a candidate with extensive knowledge and experience in carpentry and painting. The role involves leading a department of employees, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the carpentry and paint shops.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist in maintenance operations for both exterior and interior facilities, ensuring the property is maintained in optimal condition.
- Oversee the carpenter shop, managing the workflow and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Manage the paint shop staff, overseeing daily operations and scheduling work to minimize disruption to guests and employees.
- Plan, implement, and administer an effective maintenance program following best engineering practices.
- Provide leadership to ensure team members present themselves professionally and maintain positive interactions with hotel guests and employees.

Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in carpentry and painting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize and plan department activities.
- Prior experience in supervising maintenance operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in carpentry or painting.
- Previous experience in a similar managerial role.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to carpentry and painting.
