The Capital Markets Business Data Analytics Manager oversees analytics projects and processes, providing data-driven insights for business performance. Oversee the development and implementation of reporting strategies within Capital Markets and the broader organization that best optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of delivering data and required analytics to fulfill reporting, analysis and other use cases to support the business goals. Responsible for developing analytical tools and reports drawing from KPIs, industry trends, and customer and bank information. Collaborating with stakeholders, the incumbent is required to understand business objectives and challenges of the Capital Markets Division, and enterprise to translate business needs into complex data-related analyses and projects to enhance business performance, decision-making, and operational efficiency within the Capital Markets Division. The Manager is required to build and manage teams skilled in data operations, statistical methods, data analysis, data risk management and ensure compliance with enterprise data risk management policy and procedures.
Required Qualifications*- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience in financial services / banking experience
- 8+ years' experience in data analysis, including experience with database extraction tools like SQL alongside Visualization and ETL tools such as Tableau and Alteryx etc.
- 5+ years of Management Experience
- 5+ years working in a financial services business line function (e.g. Capital Markets or Corporate Banking)

Technical Skills & Tools
- Extensive skill and experience using data extraction tools: SQL, Snowflake, Access, Excel, and similar data extraction/manipulation methods
- Proficiency with reporting/query tools such as Brio, MS Query, MS Access, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects
- Data visualization and ETL tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
- Programming experience using Java Server Pages & Scripts
- PC computing environments and database/data warehouse experience
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Data Management & Process Skills
- Track record of developing and implementing effective repeatable processes and controls to ensure extracted data meets business needs
- Experience accessing data and performing data analysis from multiple and complex sources
Business & Industry Knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking, client relationship management, and risk management
- Working knowledge of bank back office processes and systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of Capital Markets products such as FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Syndications, Trade Finance, and Supply Chain Finance (preferred)
Leadership & Communications
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop staff
- Excellent verbal and written skills sufficient to interact with all levels of colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to creatively design solutions to problems with industry/business knowledge

CompensationStarting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
