Description:- The client is navigating a complex carve out environment preparing for the Mobility spin-off, creating substantial additional accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and legal entity workload across the organization.
- As the company progresses through the separation and carve-out activities, internal accounting teams are experiencing a 30-40% increase in workload driven by financial statement preparation, legal entity restructuring, treasury accounting requirements, pension accounting, and ongoing transaction-related support.
- The client is seeking experienced accounting professionals to augment the team through a particularly demanding period extending into April 2027 while ensuring critical separation, reporting, and operational objectives remain on track.
Key Responsibilities:- Support accounting and reporting activities associated with the Mobility spin-off and separation efforts.
- Assist with balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow preparation and analysis.
- Support legal entity restructuring initiatives and execution of NewCo-related accounting requirements.
- Perform treasury accounting activities, including foreign currency and derivative accounting support.
- Assist with pension accounting processes and carve-out financial statement requirements.
- Support transaction-related accounting and provide backfill assistance to accounting teams experiencing elevated workloads.
- Perform ledger reconciliations, data validation, and accounting support related to system conversion initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional accounting and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Serve as a flexible resource capable of supporting multiple accounting workstreams as priorities evolve.
