RSM is seeking an experienced, growth-oriented Director to join our growing Operations & Supply Chain Advisory practice within our broader Enterprise Performance capability. This leadership role is ideal for a consulting professional with a proven track record of helping organizations improve operational performance, unlock enterprise value, and execute complex transformation initiatives.
As a Director, you will play a critical role in the growth and expansion of RSM's Supply Chain Advisory practice. You will leverage your deep operations and supply chain expertise to advise executive leadership teams, private equity sponsors, and portfolio company management teams on initiatives that drive operational efficiency, EBITDA improvement, organizational effectiveness, and long-term value creation.
You will be responsible for growing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, delivering high-impact consulting engagements, mentoring consulting teams, and helping shape the strategic direction of the practice. Our Operations & Supply Chain Advisory service line is growing rapidly and offers tremendous career opportunities.

Practice Growth & Business Development
Client Leadership & Delivery
Lead client engagements focused on supply chain transformation, operational excellence, value creation, and performance improvement.
Advise executive stakeholders on strategic initiatives including:
Supply Chain Strategy
Operational Due Diligence
Mergers & Acquisitions Integration
EBITDA Improvement
Cost Optimization
Working Capital Improvement
Organizational Design
Pricing Strategy
Manufacturing and Distribution Operations
Procurement and Strategic Sourcing
Inventory Optimization
Network and Distribution Strategy
Lead operational assessments and business analysis efforts to identify opportunities for performance improvement and enterprise value creation.
Oversee engagement quality, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and project profitability.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, private equity investors, and operating executives.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in management consulting, advisory services, or industry leadership roles focused on operations and supply chain transformation.
Demonstrated experience leading and growing consulting practices, service lines, or business units.
Proven success selling and delivering complex consulting engagements.
Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Experience advising executive leadership teams, including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and private equity sponsors.
Strong understanding of operational performance metrics, value drivers, and transformation methodologies.
Demonstrated experience managing engagement financials, profitability, project risk, and client relationships.
Strong communication, presentation, and executive facilitation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
