Managed Services Engineer

Location: Northeastern Massachusetts & Southern New Hampshire

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to $100,000 based on experience

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Managed Services Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing MSP team.

This position combines technical support, project work, and on-site client engagement across a wide range of small and mid-sized business environments. The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft 365 expertise, understands modern identity and email security technologies, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is comfortable working directly with clients.

This role consists of approximately:

  • 30% technical support
  • 30% project work
  • 40% on-site client visits

You'll work with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, email security platforms, backup solutions, RMM tools, and a variety of client technologies. We're looking for someone who can take ownership, solve problems independently, and become a trusted technical resource for our clients.

Our engineers work across Microsoft 365, security, email systems, client projects, onsite support, and day-to-day operations. If you enjoy variety and continuous learning, you'll have plenty of opportunities to expand your skills.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 issues
  • Administer and support Exchange Online environments
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments
  • Configure and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access Policies
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding
  • Troubleshoot mail flow and email delivery issues
  • Configure and support third-party email security and email backup platforms
  • Manage file shares, permissions, and least-privilege access controls
  • Monitor and maintain client environments using RMM tools
  • Perform patch management, monitoring, and alert remediation
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Assist with client projects and technology deployments
  • Provide both remote and onsite technical support
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients
