Performs medical mammograms in order to diagnose disease or trauma. Responsible for programming the machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion. Prepares, maintains and operates mammography equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years from date of hire.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required
Experience
2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position Required
1 year experience in Mammography Preferred
