Mammography Technologist

Perm - Technologist - Mammography (Days) Coos Bay, OR

Day Shift 10-40 // 80 hours per two week pay period

Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point and North Bend are all locations by Bay Area Hospital that would have options for housing with a 30 or so minute commute in. Again, there’s no traffic and would be a very scenic commute!

Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 - $55.00/hour (This is a union position, rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable)
Relocation Available 

Mammography Tech

Performs a variety of Mammography exams for patients. Applies principles, theories and techniques of Mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position 
Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program [REQUIRED]
Current  American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s certification in Radiography and Mammography modalities [REQUIRED]
Current Oregon license [REQUIRED]
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [REQUIRED]
Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter [PREFERRED]
Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter [PREFFERED]
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
