Job Objective:
Produces high quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) exams; educates patients regarding scheduled exam and accurately documents completed exams in Electronic Health Record (EHR) and imaging reporting system. Assists radiologist with breast ultrasound biopsies, stereotactic biopsies and breast localizations; performs high quality breast ultrasound exams under limited supervision and documents and reports accurate findings to the radiologist.

Education: Required: Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology Licensure/Certification: Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) and Mammography (M); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Breast Sonography (BS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Breast (BR); California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Mammography license; American Heart Association BLS Experience: Required: Two (2) years of experience as a Mammography Technologist II or two (2) years of experience as a licensed Breast Sonographer
