Make Ready Technician

BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Make Ready Technician to support an apartment community in San Diego, CA 92101. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism.You'll help prepare apartments for new residents and support daily maintenance needs. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone experienced in general repairs, unit turns, and fast‑paced property operations.

Position Details

• Role: Make Ready Tech
• Location: San Diego, CA 92101
• Pay: $22/hr
• Schedule: M-F 8-5
• Opportunities: Contract‑to‑Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move‑ins through cleaning, repairs, and touch‑ups
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
• Replace fixtures, hardware, and basic components
• Maintain safe work practices and proper tool use
• Communicate progress with onsite staff

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician
• General maintenance skills including:

o Basic electrical

o Basic plumbing

o Carpentry/hardware installation

o Appliance troubleshooting

• Must have own tools
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physical labor
