    Description

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional to support residential property turnover and preparation efforts. In this role, you will help ensure vacant units are clean, refreshed, and ready for new residents by completing high-quality painting and related touch-up work. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and contributes to a positive resident experience through excellent workmanship and teamwork.

    What You’ll Do

    • Prepare vacant units for move-in by completing painting and finishing tasks to company standards.
    • Patch holes, repair minor wall damage, and perform surface preparation before painting.
    • Apply paint, primer, caulk, and other finishes as needed on walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and related surfaces.
    • Complete touch-ups to ensure a clean, consistent, and professional appearance throughout each unit.
    • Protect flooring, fixtures, and surrounding areas during prep and painting work.
    • Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
    • Work closely with maintenance and property teams to complete turnover tasks on schedule.
    • Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in good working condition.
    • Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Prior experience in painting, make-ready work, or general maintenance is preferred.
    • Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods.
    • Ability to complete physical tasks that may include standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Basic understanding of safety practices and proper use of tools and materials.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in an apartment community, property management environment, or similar setting.
    • Familiarity with paint matching, patching drywall, and minor cosmetic repairs.
    • Experience using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and related painting tools.
