My Pathway to Health offers a paid, work-based learning program connecting youth aged 18-24 to careers in allied health. The program includes exploring career options, hands-on training, personal and professional development, and mentoring support.
Mentors play a vital role in guiding mentees through goal setting, skill building, and providing encouragement.
Volunteers will undergo orientation and training before engaging with participants.
Their role involves supporting resume building, interview skills, career guidance, and offering feedback with actionable plans.
Each session lasts about 1 hour, with three virtual sessions scheduled over three months (July–August).
Required qualities include patience, empathy, commitment, and a passion for youth development. Healthcare background is preferred but not necessary.
Participants must be dedicated to open communication and supporting young adults on their career journeys.
