Major Gifts Campaign Manager
Position Summary
The Major Gifts Campaign Manager is responsible for driving fundraising efforts through major gifts, donor engagement, corporate partnerships, foundation support, and strategic fundraising campaigns. This role develops relationships with key donors, identifies new funding opportunities, and helps grow philanthropic revenue to support the organization's mission.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to increase philanthropic revenue.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors, corporate partners, and foundation relationships.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects.
  • Lead fundraising campaigns, special initiatives, and donor events.
  • Identify new funding opportunities and prepare proposals and donor communications.
  • Track fundraising performance using CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Partner with internal leadership to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Represent the organization at community, donor, and networking events.
Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years of fundraising experience with demonstrated success in major gifts.
  • Experience building donor, corporate, and foundation relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with donor CRM systems and fundraising reporting.
Preferred
  • Experience in nonprofit, education, or human services.
  • Experience supporting capital campaigns or large fundraising initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
