Maintenance Worker, Kalaloch Lodge

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a Part Time Seasonal Maintenance Worker to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Forks, Washington. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

• This position could be split weekends and might only be 3 or 4 days a week. depending on business levels and other staff availability.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

• Shared low-cost housing available for $85/ week, including wi-fi and all utilities

What will you do?

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Operates motor vehicle as necessary

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair required
• Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license

Physical requirements

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
