YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
As the Maintenance Worker II, you will:
- Perform routine park and natural area maintenance, including boardwalk and trail upkeep and facility care.
- Assist with native habitat restoration and invasive plant removal.
- Maintain gardens, grounds, and landscaped areas.
- Help facilitate programs, events, and services for visitors.
- Help the maintenance TEAM complete maintenance and minor repairs to park amenities.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in laboring work, providing a familiarity with refuse collection, general custodial work, or landscape/natural area maintenance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working in an environmentally sensitive area or wildlife park,
- Experience maintaining and performing minor repairs on boardwalks,
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance work, and
- Valid First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification.
