As aCity StreetsMaintenance Worker, you'll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks to keep our roads, right-a-ways, and equipment in top shape.
No two days are the same, and your work makes a real impact on the community.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

  • One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
  • Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November throughMarch.
  • Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.
  • A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.
  • Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 12months of being hired into position.


WHAT HELPS YOU STAND OUT-While not required, the following are a plus:

  • Concrete finishing experience.
  • A current Class A or B CDL license.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.

A DAY IN THE LIFE WILL INCLUDE:

  • KeepingOur Streets Safe Assist with road, sidewalk, and facility maintenance, including snow removal and repairs.
  • Maintaining & Repairing Equipment Make minor adjustments, replace worn parts, and keep tools in top shape.
  • Tracking Work Completed Maintain records, complete forms, and submit reports as needed.
  • Caringfor City Greenery Prune, fertilize, and treat trees and shrubs while safely removing damaged branches.
  • OperatingHeavy Equipment Drive dump trucks, snowplows, and bucket trucks to complete essential tasks.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.26 perhour and will increase to$21.07 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS: Monday throughFriday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
WORK LOCATION:In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
