Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of drainage maintenance operations and equipment usage/operation to include hydroseeder, brush chipper, chain saw, tamper, weed trimmer, and hand tools. Ability to swim preferred. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.

Duties

Maintenance of county stormwater facilities including ditch cleaning, downed tree removal, grass and brush cutting in county maintained drainage easements. Perform other work as required. This position is a part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities and salary incentives, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Position is open until filled (first review to begin October 5, 2026).

Shift

Monday - Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
