    As a Maintenance Worker, you will:

    • Assist with repairing storm drain cave-ins.
    • Assist with placing and finishing concrete and removing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.
    • Assist with asphalt pavement repairs.
    • Support vegetation control, debris removal, and truck loading.
    • Direct traffic using established flagging procedures.
    • Perform manual labor to support maintenance and construction activities.
    • Assist with cleaning and digging drainage ditches and cleaning and repairing stormwater structures.
    • Support emergency response efforts, including clearing roads after hurricanes and controlling snow and ice.
    • Participate in training to develop construction and equipment operation skills that support career progression and personal growth.

    What you bring:

    A successful Maintenance Worker will have basic knowledge of construction practices and tools, the ability to use hand tools and perform manual labor, and a willingness to learn. Applicants must be able to follow instructions, learn and carry out flagging procedures, and consistently adhere to safety requirements.

    Work locations:

    Selected applicants will be assigned to one of the following locations based on operational needs:

    • Greenbrier Yard: 925 Executive Blvd.
    • Hickory Yard: 149 Benefit Rd.
    • Bowers Hill Yard: 3900 S. Military Hwy.
