    Job Title: Maintenance Unit Supervisor

    COMPENSATION:

    • Base Salary: USD $70,000 to $80,000
    • Full-time, Full Benefits

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure workplace safety for all employees and the environment.
    • Conduct individual safety discussions and job-specific safety reviews.
    • Support operating results by managing subordinates with a focus on quantity, quality, timeliness, safety, recovery, and delivery performance.
    • Develop individuals in the organization through challenging assignments, training, coaching, and mentoring.
    • Allocate work fairly and clearly assign tasks to crew members, prioritizing based on business criticality.
    • Determine and deploy appropriate crewing arrangements for planned and unplanned situations within labor agreement guidelines.
    • Lead a technically capable maintenance workforce that values diversity, is customer-oriented, responsive, and flexible.
    • Apply root cause analysis and rapid problem-solving techniques to maintain or restore production.
    • Gather data to assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving for major exceptions.
    • Manage assets cost-effectively, ensuring proper equipment operations, world-class equipment availability, and long-term viability.
    • Advance business objectives regarding quality, costs, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing.
    • Make fair and equitable decisions regarding performance recognition, reward, and discipline, with appropriate documentation.
    • Build relationships, persuade others, resolve problems, and produce customer satisfaction through cooperation and influence.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
    • U.S. person status as defined by ITAR regulations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Mechanical background is a plus.
    • Experience in a union environment is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and practices related to HR/IR, including bargaining and local agreements, is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and concepts is required.
