Maintenance Man
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
HireCall is currently seeking a dependable Maintenance Man for a Tulsa company. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance experience, including a handyman, maintenance technician, or someone who has operated their own business.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general facility and equipment maintenance
- Handle light electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Perform basic plumbing repairs
- Complete minor welding and fabrication work
- Operate saws and other shop tools
- Use tape measures and other measurement devices accurately
- Complete maintenance-related paperwork
- Follow verbal and written instructions and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or related hands-on experience
- Experience with light electrical, plumbing, minor welding, and saws
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and other measurement devices
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to complete necessary paperwork
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- A self-employed handyman or business owner with strong maintenance experience is encouraged to apply
Additional Requirements
- Steel-toe boots required
- Background check: No felonies within the past 10 years
- Misdemeanors will be submitted for case-by-case consideration
- Drug testing required; no OMMA cards accepted due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position
- Final interviews are conducted by the client
