Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our clients team in Wadsworth, OH. This is an opportunity for individuals with a strong background in industrial maintenance and a proactive attitude.
Join a busy manufacturing environment where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial process machinery. Your expertise will help keep our production running smoothly while ensuring safety standards are met. This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to contribute to a dynamic team.
Hours:- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
Pay:- $24.00-30.00+ per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair extrusion molding machines and support equipment
- Perform hydraulic repairs, including cylinders and components
- Conduct electrical repairs on AC/DC controls (from 24V up to 3-phase 480V)
- Make plumbing connections/disconnections for machinery and support equipment
- Safely operate forklift, handheld tools, bench grinders, and power tools
- Complete preventative maintenance checks
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including use of safety equipment and completing required training
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience
- Vocational training in machine repair and industrial electricity
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience working with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with diverse teams
Preferred Education and Experience:- Vocational education/training in machine repair and electrical systems
- 3-5 years industry experience in industrial maintenance
Other Requirements:- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
