    Maintenance Technician


    Location: [Portland/Salem/Vancouver] Multiple locations

    Role Summary:

    We’re seeking an experienced hands‑on maintenance professional to install, troubleshoot, and repair hot‑side and cold‑side equipment across our different locations. Core platforms include flyers, breading stations, holding cabinets/warmers /ovens/toasters, and cold-side systems such as walk‑in/reach‑in coolers & freezers, ice machines, and beverage systems.


    HVAC experience is highly desirable but not required


    Key Responsibilities:

    Service & repair all equipment in the stores


    Preventive Maintenance: Execute PM checklists on defined cadence (monthly/quarterly/semi‑annual)   

       

    Emergency Response: Prioritize critical outages affecting food safety or sales        


    Electrical/Plumbing Basics: Perform light electrical (120/208/240V, breakers, outlets, switches) and plumbing tasks (supply lines, drains, traps, faucets) within scope; escalate as needed.      

     

    Facilities Tasks: Minor carpentry/patch & paint, hardware, door closers, ceiling tiles, caulking, and sealants; coordinate roof/hood/grease trap vendors as required.


    Inventory & Parts: Maintain truck stock; source parts with approved vendors; track serials, warranty, and asset tags.     


    Communication: Provide timely updates to managers; recommend repair vs. replace decisions with cost/benefit rationale.



    Qualifications:


    Experience: 3+ years in restaurant, hospitality, or commercial kitchen maintenance preferred (hot‑side and/or refrigeration).     

       

    Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals; strong troubleshooting fundamentals (electrical, mechanical, refrigeration basics)    

       

    HVAC: Experience is a plus; willing to train the right candidate.     


    Licensing: Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR; ability to pass background check as required.
