Industrial Maintenance Mechanic | 1st Shift

Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Weekend On-Call Rotation

BlackRock Resources is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing client!

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running? If you have strong mechanical skills, experience with industrial machinery, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical failures and pneumatic system issues.

• Repair and rebuild mechanical drive systems, including V-belt and chain drives.

• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications.

• Install and maintain material handling systems.

• Safely operate hoists, forklifts, hand tools, and power tools.

• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability efforts.

• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.

What We're Looking For

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of V-belt and chain drive systems.

• Basic welding, layout, and fabrication skills.

• Experience working with 480V, 3-phase motor circuits.

• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with production and maintenance teams.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments, including heights and confined spaces.

• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Weekend on-call rotation required

• Occasional overtime and holiday coverage as needed
