Maintenance Technician (US)

Able to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), and lifting up to 50 lbs. Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $23- $32/hr. on W2
Location: Beech Grove, IN
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM with on-call weekend rotation.
Duration: 6 Months+ Possible Extension

Job Description:
Assignment / Responsibilities

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

• Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment.
• Operating hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Troubleshooting mechanical failures and pneumatic systems.
• Repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining mechanical drive systems.
• Installing material systems.
• Fabrication.

• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime if needed.
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.
• Always Exhibit a professional image; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Basic welding, layout, and fabrication skills.
• Experience with V-belt and chain drive systems.
• Machine troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with 480-volt, 3-phase motor circuits.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge a plus.
