Maintenance Technician – Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform PMs and repairs on production machinery including conveyors, flow wrappers, case packers, and occasionally robotic systems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues involving pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and PLC-based controls.
Line Changeovers: Execute or support machine changeovers and setups according to production schedules.
Documentation & Compliance: Record work in CMMS; follow GMP, food-safety standards (Kosher, Halal, SQF), and OSHA requirements.
Facility Improvements: Install new equipment, upgrade existing lines, and support general facility maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (motors, relays, VFDs), plus welding/fabrication and hydraulics/pneumatics.
PLC/Electronics: Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
Documentation: CMMS experience required.
Education: Associate degree, Journeyman card, or equivalent technical training
