Position Summary
National Horizon Real Estate Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service Technician I - Turnover & Make Ready to support a 200+ unit multifamily community in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Service Technician I is primarily responsible for preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents. This position performs make-ready repairs, punch-list items, minor maintenance, fixture replacement, drywall and paint touch-up, appliance preparation, safety inspections, and final unit detailing to ensure apartments meet company standards prior to move-in.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, quality workmanship, and the ability to complete assigned tasks within established turnover schedules.
This position works under the direction of the Service Director or designated property leadership and collaborates closely with the maintenance, leasing, and management teams to support timely apartment readiness.

Work Environment & Essential Job Functions
This is an active, hands-on position performed throughout apartment homes, buildings, maintenance areas, common areas, and community grounds.
The position regularly requires movement throughout the property; standing and walking for extended periods; bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined or elevated areas when appropriate; climbing approved ladders; operating hand and power tools; and moving tools, parts, equipment, supplies, and materials associated with apartment maintenance.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, including during typical Las Vegas weather conditions.
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Team lifting, mechanical assistance, or other appropriate methods should be used when required for safe material handling.
Depending on community staffing and operational needs, schedule flexibility may occasionally be required for apartment-turn deadlines, property emergencies, weekend work, or other legitimate business needs.
Certifications & Specialized Work
Advanced trade certifications are not required for all Service Technician I duties.
Employees may not independently perform regulated, licensed, or certification-specific work unless they possess the required credentials and have been authorized by National Horizon to perform that work.
