Location: Travelers Rest, SC
Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00/hr
Duration: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who can troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs, and keep production running efficiently. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, CNC equipment experience, and a background in preventive maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery, CNC equipment, and production systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment control issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete repairs.
- Install, adjust, and test machinery to ensure proper operation.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, welding, and building repairs as needed.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing CNC machinery.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial equipment repairs.
- Welding, fabrication, HVAC, or plumbing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
