    Position Summary
    S&G Stores is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our convenience stores, fuel stations, equipment, and surrounding properties safe, clean, and in good working condition. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep across multiple S&G locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, resourceful, dependable, and comfortable working independently. 
     
    A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform general repairs and maintenance at S&G convenience-store locations
    • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
    • Repair doors, locks, fixtures, shelving, ceilings, floors, walls, and other store components
    • Perform preventative maintenance on store equipment and facilities
    • Maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, lighting, and signage
    • Assist with repairs and maintenance of fuel-site equipment when appropriate
    • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize urgent repairs
    • Inspect stores for safety, maintenance, and cleanliness issues
    • Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are needed
    • Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used
    • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition
    • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations
    • Travel between S&G locations as needed
    Qualifications
    • Previous maintenance, construction, facilities, or mechanical experience preferred
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • A valid driver's license
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner
    • Must be comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
    • Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or respond to emergency maintenance needs
